Novo Nordisk in Talks with Global Blood Therapeutics
Danish manufacturer Novo Nordisk has reportedly approached Global Blood Therapeutics Inc., a U.S. biotech company, to discuss a possible acquisition, according to a Reuters story.
Global Blood Therapeutics would provide a host of blood disease treatments under development, and would be a big score for Novo Nordisk. The biotech company is said to be working with an investment bank to discuss its options, but there is no guarantee negotations will proceed.
