Ex-Heritage Pharma Execs Settle Price-Fixing Case

Former CEO and president of Heritage Pharma who both pleaded guilty to fixing drug prices will settle with 41 states and territories.

Two executives who were employed by Heritage Pharmaceuticals and pleaded guilty to fixing drug prices earlier this year have agreed to settle with 41 states and territories involved in the probe, according to a Reuters article.

Jason Malek, former president of Heritage Pharma, and Jeffrey Glazer, former chairman and CEO, agreed to cooperate in the state probe and each will pay a $25,000 civil penalty, according to the office of Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen.

Heritage is a subsidiary of Emcure Ltd.
