    Particle Measuring Systems released the FacilityPro 5010 System, an industrial automation solution for environmental monitoring. The FacilityPro 5010 builds on the previous FacilityPro generation and provides a central hub for a complete cleanroom environmental monitoring system. With a modular design, the company says the system can be configured based on current sampling requirements while offering simple expandability to meet future needs.

    The FacilityPro 5010 simplifies particle and microbial sampling by offering the flexibility to sample either particles or microbial sampling points with a single module. In addition, analog and digital inputs and outputs for sensors such as temperature, differential pressure and light towers are now integrated into the central processor module, reducing the number of sampling modules. Additional modules are available to connect to a larger number of particle counters, microbial samplers, and analog environmental sensors such as temperature or differential air pressure. 

    The central vacuum architecture further simplifies installation. A backup vacuum pump can also be installed, allowing for continued operation during pump failure or maintenance.
